How much do hair extensions cost? 
Prices vary on the method, amount, quality and length you decide to have but they can typically start from around £185 to £400 includes Hair, Fitting and Cut/Blend

Aftercare

No one can guarantee how long your hair will last, as it very much down to the individual. However, good aftercare and maintenance combined with high quality hair will allow you to enjoy your extensions for longer. 

I recommend the following …

Washing
Before washing de-tangle your hair using a hair extension brush. Wash your hair in a shower with your head upright. Do not rub or twist the hair, massage the scalp gently with your fingertips. Wash using GL Shampoo & Conditioner, when you have finished washing, gently squeeze out excess water and pat wet hair gently with a towel (but do not wrap your hair in a towel).

Brushing/Drying
Do brush the hair whilst wet, starting from the ends up towards the roots and gently support the hair by holding bonds or micro rings. Then blow dry until the hair is completely dry.

Styling
You can treat your extensions like your own natural hair, the hair can be straightened, curled, blow dried etc. However, the use of straighteners or frequent curly blow dries has an impact on the lifespan of your extensions. Any processing (bleaching, dying) will also shorten the life of the hair.

Sleeping
Never sleep on wet hair. Before going to bed brush your hair and then braid your hair into one braid. In the morning undo braid and brush your hair.

Swimming/Salt Water/Sauna/Sun Bathing
Braid your hair into one braid. Once finished undo braid, shampoo & condition using GL products, brush and dry your hair extensions.

Maintenance
It is recommended to have maintenance done every 4 to 6 weeks after fitting to avoid damaging your own hair. And removal and refitting done every 4 months.

It is important to take good care of your extensions and have patience to look after them. With careful attention and correct care they will stay in good condition for longer.

Extensions need lots of conditioning and gentle brushing, please also remember that the less stress put on the extensions the better.
